MLK JR. DAY CELEBRATION + SNACKS FOR STUDENTS DRIVE
SPARK will be once again holding an MLK Jr. Celebration and Community Connection Event at Kennedy Middle School on Monday, January 16th at 10:00 am.
There is a district-wide need for snacks for students who don’t have a snack available to them. As a helpful service project for MLK Jr. Day, a “Snacks for Students” drive will run at each school.
SPARK will be collecting peanut-free individually packaged snacks (dried fruit, pretzels, chips, goldfish), cereal bars, healthy granola bars, apple sauce (single serving), fruit cups (single serving), and juice boxes. We will have a collection box in the front lobby during the week of January 9th - 13th.
SUMMER CAMP FAIR
Thursday, January 19th, 7 - 8:30PM
Come in from the cold and dream of summer fun in the sun at the 11th Annual Summer Camp Information Night at Brown School hosted by the Brown PTO - all schools are welcome! The information night is free and open to the public. Dozens of local summer camps and programs will have representatives available to answer questions, and share information about summer and year round programming.
There will be a silent auction in the library with the chance to win camp weeks, special programs, and other prizes.
Representatives from many programs will be in attendance, including School of Rock Natick, LINX, Danforth Art, Natick Parks and Recreation (Woodtrail), Mayflower Council Boy Scouts of America, Metrowest YMCA, NEOC - New England Outdoor Camp, and more.
