The PTO usually sponsors several events throughout the year that allow students and their families to socialize in a fun and relaxed environment.

Book Fair                                                                

The Book Fair, which takes place in the library, features a wide selection of paperback and hardcover books for children and adults, as well as posters and craft kits. There is a raffle with a prize basket for a child in each grade, and there are teacher “wish boxes” for books wanted in the classroom. Sales support our school and provide books for the library and classrooms.

Halloween Event                                                                                                                  

A family event with a Trunk or Treat, DJ and other fun activities.

Thanksgiving Drive                                                                                                   

Right before Thanksgiving we work with the Natick Service Council to donate money or food items. We have a program in November where each classroom participates and puts together the supplies for a Thanksgiving Dinner for a local family.

Bi-annual Lilja Auction                                                                               

We will raise money and you can enjoy a parent/caregiver night out! This event happens every two years.

Staff Appreciation                                                                               

Usually the first week in May, Lilja families donate money to provide food and drinks to staff throughout Teacher Appreciation Week in May to show our appreciation for their hard work.

Lilja Carnival                                                                             

Held annually in June, the Lilja Carnival is a massive town-wide event. The carnival has something for everyone! Rides, games, food, animals, face painting and much more! We need many volunteers to help plan and work the day of the fair!

Lilja Yearbook

This wonderful memory book contains photos of all Lilja Staff and students. The Yearbook Coordinator liaises with Room Parents and Teachers to organize photos and content for the keepsake.

Restaurant Nights

This is a great opportunity to visit some local restaurants throughout the year and help our school at the same time. Restaurant fundraisers give between 15 and 20% of sales back to the Lilja PTO! We try to have one restaurant fundraiser each month. Whether you plan on dining out or bringing home take-out on a fundraising day, please don’t forget to mention Lilja so your check is counted toward the total.
