LILJA CARNIVAL
Lilja’s Annual Carnival is coming up Sunday, June 4, from 12-4 pm on our upper fields. Bigger, better, and more efficient than last year! We have new attractions, new rides, and new games – you won’t want to miss it! Since this is a town-wide event, preordering your tickets is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED if you want to skip the lines at the event itself. This is such a fun day, please join us and spread the word! pto BOARD - WE WANT YOU!
According to the PTO by-laws, our executive board needs to turn over after this year. We are retiring! There are 5 positions available, all are described in this document with instructions on how to apply. Our next public meeting is on Tuesday, May 30th at 7 pm where the voting in will take place.
A note for anyone interested: all PTO boards are unique. The only rule is that all actions must be for the benefit of Lilja School. The new board will have guidance from past directors (if desired) but will be free to govern itself and make decisions that are best for the members. There is no precedent on events, fundraisers, etc. New board members with NEW ideas are welcome!
