Lilja Fair: The Lilja fair is on Sunday, June 5th from 1:00-5:00 PM. The fair takes place rain or shine, we are hoping for a sunny day this year! We have added some new attractions and will have all of the favorites from years past. Attractions include: The Stacey Peasley Band performing from 2-3:30PM, Bubble Soccer, Cake Walk, Dunk Tank, Face Painting, Bake Sale, and so much more!
In order to put on such a big event we need a lot of volunteers the day of the fair beginning at 10:00 AM for set-up and 5:00PM for clean up. If you know any high school students who need volunteer hours please send the sign-up link to them. We would also love to have some Lilja alumni currently at Wilson come back and help out. Additional information on the bake sale and cake walk will be sent out in the next few weeks. If you have any questions please contact Christine Kingdon or Colleen O’Leary.
Bake Sale and Cake Walk: Please donate your favorite baked goods to the Lilja Fair Bake Table. Any goodies that do not require refrigeration are welcome. The most popular items in past years have been cookies, brownies, cupcakes, mini breads, fudge, cakes and cookie pops. Please label your goodies if they have nuts or if they are dairy free or gluten free. Wrap goodies in individual baggies or boxes for sale. Please contact Erin Nihill and Karen Loughran with questions.
Instructions for Cakewalk Bakers: We also need folks to volunteer to bake cakes for our very popular Cakewalk game. The Cakewalk is similar to musical chairs. The winner chooses a cake as their prize. Please make your cakes single layer decorated cakes. Boxes can be picked up or sent home with your child beginning on Thursday, June 3rd. Please label the box with the flavor of cake mix and frosting that you used and any allergens. Remember that one cake mix makes two single layer 9" rounds, and the more creatively you decorate them the more fun the kids will have deciding which one to choose! It would be great to have a variety of cakes that include some that are gluten free, nut free, egg or dairy free.
Cakes and Bake sale items can be dropped off in the Lilja lobby between 10AM – 12:30PM on Sunday, June 5th. Sign Up to Bake

Thank you to everyone who helped from securing auction items, to working on and donating to class gifts, making donations and attending the auction. Our classroom gifts put together by the great room parents contributed $4900 toward our total. The best school staff in Natick so generously contributed their time outside of school with their great parties and overnight adventures and helped to bring in $5800.
