Our first winner of the PTO Volunteer Initiative

One of the goals the new PTO Board has is to increase our number of volunteers, and we added an additional incentive to those who volunteer. A $25 gift card to a local business will be given to one volunteer at each PTO meeting, done randomly through a drawing. Our first winner of a $25 Gift Certificate to Tilly & Salvy’s is Nancy Bloomstein!
All the events and programs we run throughout the course of the year are dependent on YOU stepping forward and helping. For each event you volunteer at you are given 1 chance in the drawing. For each leadership role you take on, you get 10 chances in the drawing! If you are interested in volunteering, but don’t know how, please contact us pto@liljapto.org. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Lilja Night @ the Celtics Fundraiser

Come join your Lilja friends for a night watching the Celtics! Complete the form and return to Lilja by Friday, November 16th. Tickets are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Submitting an order form does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be emailed to you at the email provided on the form if your order is able to be fulfilled. All participating students will receive a Celtics pencil, and are entered to win unique Celtics experiences! Questions? Please contact Erin Lewis at elewis@Celtics.com

Thanksgiving Drive

Lilja will again be helping the Natick Service Council by sponsoring 20 Natick families in need for Thanksgiving.  Every year, the Natick Service Council donates the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal to over 150 Natick families in need.  This is a wonderful way to teach our students what it means to be part of a community.  In the coming weeks, look for information from your class’ room parents.  We will be seeking donations of food, to be collected November 14 - November 22.  All donations will be delivered to the Service Council on Tuesday November 22.  If you have any questions please contact Michelle Ferretti at natickmichelle@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Box Tops and Labels for Education

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Box Tops collection! We were able to raise $286.70. Our next submission is coming up quickly in February so please continue to collect Box Tops so we can hopefully surpass our Fall numbers.
The Labels for Education program is coming to an end.  Be on the lookout for UPC symbols with the Labels for Education logo from these participating brands: Campbell’s, Pace, Pepperidge Farm, Spaghettios, Swanson, and V8. Clip, collect them, and send them in with your child. We will be doing a final submission in the Spring.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at pto@liljapto.org or any member of the board directly.
