PTA Upcoming Events
Please join us for our first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00 PM in the Library. We will have our open forum for questions, receive our check from the Tour de Natick group, review the budget, discuss upcoming events, meeting topics, volunteer opportunities and our Spring auction. The PTA will provide complimentary babysitting for the PTA meeting.
The Yearbook Committee is looking for anyone interested in laying out pages or taking photos at class and school events. Ideally, it would be nice to have a parent to represent every grade. You do not need any experience to be part of the yearbook team. There will be a brief meeting for everyone interested in October. If you would like to get involved with the yearbook please contact Liz Gorman.
School Picture Day
Coffee Pond will be at the school on Friday September 25th, taking individual and class portraits. Order forms with specific details will be coming home Friday. We are looking for volunteers to help make sure hair is brushed and smiles are big. If you are available from 10:30-12:30 on the 25th and would like to help, please sign-up on the Google Doc. If you have any questions please contact Linsey Evans.
Box Tops Classroom Contest - Every Box Top is worth 10¢ for Lilja! The classroom that submits the most Box Tops collection sheets by September 30th will win a special treat! Print off collection sheets or you can glue/tape Box Tops to any 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper.
We have Lilja short sleeve, long sleeve and hooded sweatshirts available with the Lilja logo. For sizing, logo and color choices please print off the order form. Orders will be accepted until Tuesday, October 27th. Order forms can be dropped off in the front office. Please contact Kim Aliprantis with any questions.
The PTA would like to thank Hamel Bros. Landscaping for the tremendous changes they were able to make to the grounds at Lilja this summer. They designed a plan for Lilja and were able to execute it and even finish a few days early. Lilja has never looked better and we are looking forward to working with them throughout the year. We can’t say enough good things about Paul and Dave Hamel and their hard working crew. They were generous with their time and resources and we are very grateful that they were willing to take on the project.
We would also like to thank Richard MacPherson from Bee Lines who was generous enough to donate his time and services to the PTA to finish up our basketball court project. The original contractor did not finish the job and Rich stepped in and completed it.
