Today, May 20th, we are holding a fundraiser at CPK in Wellesley. If you are interested in going print off a flyer and please make sure you write down your child's class on it. Bring it to CPK for lunch or dinner, dine in or take-out. The class/grade that has the highest attendance will win a prize of their choice (i.e. Pajama day or extra recess day). The restaurant fundraiser is all day.
Purchasing a new backpack, lunchbox or clothes can earn the PTA money. All items in the uniform division of Lands End apply (it’s not just clothes in there) and can be purchased with or without a Lilja Lion monogram on it.

PTA Upcoming Events
The Lilja Fair is Sunday, May 31st from 1:00-5:00 PM. The fair is open to the whole community not just Lilja families. Please help us spread the word! We will have some great games and activities for the whole family. This is the last big event of the school year and we need parent volunteers to help us make the day successful.
Volunteer: We need between 20-25 volunteers per hour to keep all of the games and activities open during the fair. Parents are welcome to work a shift with their child helping them out, or if 4th grade students are interested in volunteering they can do so as well. We are also accepting middle and high school student volunteers to help out at the fair as well.
Baking some goodies: The Cake Walk is one of the most popular games. For those who do not know, it is similar to musical chairs where the prize is a cake. Roche Bros. has donated 8x8 cake boxes for the fair, please keep this in mind when baking, we do not have larger boxes available. One box of cake mix makes two 8x8 cakes (round or square) which you can decorate in fun and creative ways. If it is a gluten free or peanut free cake, please mark the box. If you sign up to bake a cake we will send home a cake box with your child on Thursday, May 28th or Friday, May 29th. We need over 100 cakes to keep the game open for the full time. If you sign up after 12:00PM on Friday, May 29th, please contact Mercedes Lagan to pick up your cake box over the weekend. Please drop off bake sale and cake walk cakes beginning at 11:00 or later Sunday morning.
Put a Lawn Sign in your yard: Lawn signs will be placed around town starting on Saturday, May 23rd for the week. If you are interested in putting a sign on your lawn please let us know.
Please contact Christine Kingdon or Colleen O’Leary with any questions.
Soldier Show: Here is something fun, free and local!! U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center, Army Entertainment and the Town of Natick have collaborated to host Natick's first U.S. Army Soldier Show at the Natick High School Auditorium, kicking off Memorial Day Weekend in Natick - May 22nd 6:00pm. It's completely free but there are a limited number of tickets. Check out the flyer for more details about the event and to register for FREE tickets. If you haven't been to something like this before, you won't be disappointed! Feel free to share with anyone who might be interested!
Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the board with any questions.
