Box Tops for Education
Every Box Top is worth 10¢ for Lilja! Print off collection sheets or you can glue/tape Box Tops to any 8.5" x 11" paper. When your child has submitted collection sheets with 50 Box Tops, they'll earn a special prize, so make sure to include their name and class.

Labels for Education
Lilja also collects Labels for Education. These do not need to be attached to a collection sheet. Simply send them in your child's folder or feed the lion in the Lilja lobby.

Lands End
Purchasing a new backpack, lunchbox or clothes can earn the PTA money. All items in the uniform division of Lands End apply (it’s not just clothes in there) and can be purchased with or without a Lilja Lion monogram on it. BONUS: May 12-19th monogramming and shipping are free on all purchases through the uniform division. Discount code and pin can be found at Landsend.com. 
Online: Go to Lands End and create or sign in to your account. Include your student and school information in My Account (or find your School using the Preferred School Number 900165911). Start shopping with your personalized product checklist.

PTA Upcoming Events

Lilja Fair
The Lilja Fair is Sunday, May 31st from 1:00-5:00 PM.  We will have some great games and activities for the whole family. This is the last big event of the school year and we need parent volunteers to help us make the day successful. We need between 20-25 volunteers per hour to keep all of the games and activities open during the fair, as well as set-up, clean-up and baking.
Volunteer: Parents are welcome to work a shift with their child helping them out, or if 4th grade students are interested in volunteering they can do so as well. Please donate your time to the fair. We are also accepting middle and high school student volunteers to help out at the fair as well.  
Bake some goodies: The Cake Walk is one of the most popular games. For those who do not know, it is similar to musical chairs where the prize is a cake. One box of cake mix makes two 9x9 cakes (round or square) which you can decorate in fun and creative ways. If it is a gluten free or peanut free cake, please mark the box. If you sign up to bake a cake we will send home a cake box with your child on Thursday May 28th or Friday May 29th. If you sign up after 12:00PM on Friday, May 29th, please contact Christine to pick up your cake box over the weekend. Please drop off bake sale and cake walk cakes beginning at 11:00 or later Sunday morning. Please donate baked goods to the fair.
Put a sign in your yard: Lawn signs will be placed around town starting on Saturday, May 23rd for the week.  If you are interested in putting a sign on your lawn please let us know

Natick PMC Kids
PMC Kids T-shirt day is Thursday, May 14h. Please help everyone get excited for the Kids Ride on the 5/17/15 by wearing your previous PMC Kids Ride t-shirt to school and around town on the 14th!  Registration is still open so tell a friend and sign up for the great cause and wonderful family opportunity!

SPARK Contest
Dear Families!  "Share Your SPARK" is SPARK Kindness' annual initiative to highlight kindness in Natick. Students (individuals or groups) Preschool through Grade 4 are encouraged to submit art work, essays and poetry.  This year's theme is the "3 Kindnesses:" (1) Kindness to Self; (2) Kindness to Others; and (3) Kindness to Nature. Participants can focus on any of the 3 Kindnesses or all 3!  This is also a fun project for kids to work on over vacation. Submissions are due May 15th and there will be a Recognition Ceremony on June 6 with fun surprises!  Here is more information and a video on WGBH-TV's Greater Boston featuring last year's campaign. Thank you!

Tour De Natick
The Rotary Club of Natick is excited to announce the 12th annual Tour De Natick bike ride on Sunday June 21, 2015. As you may know the ride benefits Natick Public Schools in many ways:
    •    Scholarships for graduating seniors from Natick High School
    •    Annual Elementary School Dictionary Project
    •    Other education initiatives
In an effort to further support the Natick Public Schools, the Rotary Club of Natick would like to give a gift of $500.00 to the PTO of the school with highest percentage of student riders. Students and their families can sign up ahead of time (click on "Register") or on the day of the ride. In addition, Teachers ride for Free. After the ride each student should come to the registration area to have their name placed on a board to be counted. We will announce the winner at the event. We hope to take a photo of the group of students from each school.  Students that cannot stay for the picture will be counted.
