The Lilja Lions HFW Challenge has begun! Each Grade has a list of High Frequency Words that the children work towards mastering by the end of the year. 10 HFW from each level have been chosen as pledge words. 50% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be given to Dog B.O.N.E.S., of MA therapy dog program. Every child that turns in a pledge sheet will be placed in a lottery for a Reading Partner session with Maisy and Ms. Marcher. To find out more about Dog B.O.N.E.S., please visit their website. If you have any questions about the fundraiser, please contact Linsey Evans. Please turn in your pledge sheets by this Friday, April 10th.
Box Tops for Education
Every Box Top is worth 10¢ for Lilja! Print off collection sheets or you can glue/tape Box Tops to any 8.5" x 11" paper and send them in your child’s folder. When your child has submitted collection sheets with 50 Box Tops, they'll earn a special prize, so make sure to include their name and class on the sheets!
Labels for Education
Lilja also collects Labels for Education. These do not need to be attached to a collection sheet. Simply send them in your child's folder or feed the lion in the Lilja lobby.
