PTA Announcements

Lilja Auction
Please mark your calendars for Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Wellesley College Club for our school auction. This event happens every other year and is a main source of fundraising for our school.  We are having our first Auction meeting Wednesday, December 2nd at the Morse Tavern at 7pm. Please contact Christine Kingdon if you have any questions.

Tilly & Salvy’s
Thank you to everyone who attended the Pumpkins for Our School Festival.  Lilja received $1500 from this event.  We greatly appreciate all that Rick and his team at Tilly’s do for Lilja School and the Natick community.  They are always giving back to our community, this event in October raised over $4800 for Natick schools and they have donated over $63,000 to Natick schools since 2001.

Lilja Wear
We are told the order will be shipped to us on December 1 and should arrive by Friday the 4th.  We will take the weekend to organize everyone's order with their order form and will have them at Lilja ready for distribution to your children on December 7.  For those who made a note on their order form they want this as a gift for their children we will have it ready for pick up by the parent in the front office.  Please contact Kim Aliprantis with any questions.

Lilja Directory
The directory had some technical issues that have been resolved.  Unfortunately  many schools are having their directories done at the same time, this has caused a printing delay.  We will have them home to families the week of December 7th. Thank you to J.P. Matychak and Megan Rodriguez for their work on this project.

Coats for Kids
Lilja is once again participating in this great program.  There is a box set up in the lobby for donations. PLEASE note that only the following items will be accepted: Warm winter coats, gently used, good quality, all sizes needed.  Once the coats are collected they are professionally cleaned by Antons and distributed by social service agencies to those in need within the local community.  PLEASE DO NOT put coats with rips, tears, broken zippers, permanent stains, sweatshirts, vests, or Spring coats. The coat drive will go till January 6th.

Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the board with any questions.
