The PTA is thrilled to announce we have two new board that were voted in at last week’s PTA meeting. Kristine Black has joined the board as our Vice President and J.P. Matychak as the Secretary.
All families who would like to have their information in the directory must complete the Google form by Friday, October 30th. We do not receive any information from the school and do not use information from previous years. The only way to be in the directory is to complete the form.
There is a misconception that to volunteer at Lilja is a full time job, that is not true! Our fundraising is done through single day/evening events and we need volunteers to help chair these. Much of the planning can be done over email/phone with one or no meetings required. We also need volunteers for the day of events to help set up and clean up. Please take a few moments to look over the opportunities available this year and help out where your family schedule allows. There will be additional items that pop up throughout the year and they will appear in our weekly eblasts. If you have any questions about the events please contact Christine Kingdon.
Congratulations to 4B, the winners of Lilja's Box Tops Summer Challenge! The students in Ms. Bennett's class brought in 318 Box Tops (that's $31.80). The class will be receiving a special treat to celebrate. Thanks to everyone's participation, we collected $287.00 worth of Box Tops by the deadline. Keep the collections going! For the rest of the year, students can receive personal prizes for submitting completed collection sheets.
We have Lilja short sleeve, long sleeve and hooded sweatshirts available with the Lilja logo. For sizing, logo and color choices please print off the order form. Orders will be accepted until Tuesday, October 27th. Order forms can be dropped off in the front office. Please contact Kim Aliprantis with any questions.

PTA Upcoming Events
Mark your calendars! The Lilja Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st and Thursday October 22nd from 2pm to 8pm. This year’s theme is a “Monster Book Fair – Reading Is So Much Fun, You’ll Get Goosebumps!” Get ready for a Spook-tacular good time.

Our first restaurant night is this Thursday, October 8th from 4:00-9:00PM at Panera bread in the Stop and Shop Plaza. You must present the flyer for Lilja to receive credit.
Fourth Grade Fundraising
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 14th at 7PM in the library. This meeting is open to all fourth grade families. We will be discussing the year end fourth grade activities and brainstorming ways to raise funds. If you are unable to attend but would like to be involved please contact Gina Arthur.
Pumpkin Fest at Tilly & Salvy's
Sunday, October 18th from 2-5PM, rain or shine. This is the 13th year of this event. There will be face painting, moon bounce, live music and crafts. Proceeds from pumpkin sales on this day will be donated to Natick Schools. In years past Lilja has received almost $1000 from this event last year. Please mark your calendars for this fun event!
Our school has teamed up with the Boston Celtics for a unique and fun experience! Together, we will attend a Celtics game on November 20, 2015 and receive exclusive pricing unique to our school! From each attendee at the garden this particular night from our school, Lilja will receive $10. Aside from supporting our school and the Celtics, the students will have the chance to be awarded exclusive experiences for their participation in the fundraiser. From standing on the court with the players during the singing of the national anthem to high-fiving them as they run out from the locker room, Please return all payments (cash, card or check) and completed order forms by October 29th. Order forms should be returned to school in an envelope marked Celtics. Please make all checks out to the Boston Celtics.
