There are a few ways you can get involved before the big day: Volunteer: Help make the carnival a success! Just one hour of your time can make a big difference. Sign up to volunteer and be part of the fun behind the scenes. Concessions volunteers are greatly needed. Bake a Cake: Over 40 cakes are still needed for the Cake or Candy Wheel activity. Consider contributing to this long standing tradition at the Lilja Carnival! Preorder Tickets: Want to skip the line? Preorder your tickets now! If you purchased tickets last school year, the tickets will be waiting for you at will call. Don’t worry, tickets will also be available at the entrance on the day of the event.

Parents Night Out at Bloom and Grow - Wednesday, September 25 6:30-8:30 p.m.We’re teaming up with Bloom and Grow Creative for a fun fall craft, light bites, and a kid-free evening to connect with other Lilja parents. Family Photo Sessions – Limited Spots Available!Lilja parent and photographer, Lauren Thomson, is offering mini photo sessions for $50 each. Each session includes a 15-minute shoot and 5 high-resolution images. Best of all, all proceeds go to the Lilja PTO to support enrichment, social events, cultural arts, and more! Share Your First Day of School Memories for the Lilja Yearbook!We’d love to include your child’s first day of school photos in this year’s Lilja Yearbook! Send your pictures to liljayearbook@gmail.com. Please make sure to only send photos of your own children. If friends are in the photos too, kindly add their parents emails to your submission and have them confirm that they’re okay with including their child in the yearbook as well. |

Event and Fundraising Coordinators NeededRestaurant Night Coordinator: Help organize 4-5 restaurant nights throughout the year where a portion of the proceeds supports Lilja as a fundraiser. Staff Holiday Breakfast Coordinator: Coordinate the holiday breakfast for our wonderful staff. Cultural Arts Committee: Our Cultural Arts Co-Chairs are looking for volunteers to help plan guest speakers and assemblies for all grades. It's a great way to bring exciting learning experiences to the school! Photo Day Help Needed: We’re looking for 2 volunteers to assist the photographers on Tuesday, September 24 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. Must have a CORI on file. If you’re interested in volunteering for any of these opportunities, or have an idea for a fundraiser or community event, email pto@liljapto.org.

Join the 4th Grade Committee!Join fellow 4th-grade parents for drinks on Wednesday, October 2 at 7 p.m. at Morse Tavern! We’ll brainstorm fundraising ideas to support 4th-grade activities as our kids begin their final year at Lilja.

Shannon O’Brien, PresidentI’m Shannon: I have a 5th, 3rd and 1st grader this year. Every room in my house has some sort of legos in it! When I’m not driving to soccer, swimming, karate or basketball, I work at a local non-profit in Natick center. I served as the Lilja PTO VP during the ‘23-‘24 school year. Prior to that I was involved as a Lilja room parent. I’m looking forward to partnering with the Lilja community! |

Meghan Bradford, Vice PresidentHi-I'm Meghan! My son Liam is in first grade at Lilja. When I am not cheering from the sidelines at soccer, walking my dog or reading, I work as a Neonatal ICU nurse in Boston. Last year, I volunteered here and there where I could. This year, I am thrilled to take on an official role working alongside such an amazing team to help make this year great for our Lilja teachers and students! |

Chris Sykes, TreasurerMy family moved to Natick in 2022 after a wonderful 9-year interlude in Wisconsin, during which we welcomed two girls into our family. My goals in joining the PTO are to help foster a supportive environment for our teachers and parents, while meeting new parents who share those values. I work full-time for a family-owned distributor of life science products in Waltham, and my interests include history, economics, technology, and the automotive industry. I look forward to meeting many of you at upcoming events. |

Alison Sullivan, SecretaryHi, I’m Alison Sullivan. I have a daughter in second grade and another who will start at Lilja next year. I joined the PTO last year because I love the incredible school community and wanted to get more involved, and I’m so happy I did! Outside of this role I work as a freelance writer and editor. |
